Getting involved
We involve residents in our organisation in a variety of ways so that residents can influence and shape our services:
Board membership
Tenants elect a representative to sit on our Board at a Tenants Talk meeting. As a Board member the tenant representative is part of a team making decisions about every aspect of the Association.
Operations Committee membership
We have a co-opted tenant member on our Operations Committee. This post is filled through advertising in our quarterly newsletter; PCHA News. The Operations Committee reviews our housing management performance quarterly and agrees housing management policies.
Suggestion scheme
We are always looking for ways to improve our services. Our suggestion scheme gives you the opportunity to make a suggestion about how we can improve our services. We will respond to all suggestions and let you know what action will be taken as a result of the suggestion. To make a suggestion click here.
Tenants' Talk
We hold Tenants’ Talk meetings 3 times a year. These meetings are open forums for tenants to talk about our services. We advertise these meetings in our quarterly newsletter, PCHA News, which you can view here.
Resident satisfaction surveys and feedback questionnaires
We hold a resident satisfaction survey every 3 years. This gives all tenants an opportunity to let us know how we are doing. The results are reported to the Board and are used to agree an action plan on how we can improve services. In between the full survey we carry out a sample survey so that we can keep a check on satisfaction.
In addition to these surveys we ask for feedback from tenants for every repair we carry out by sending out a questionnaire with a prepaid envelope. The feedback from the questionnaires is collated and reported to our Operations Committee and our contractors.
