We keep our homes in a good state of repair through our repairs service and our annual programmes of planned works. Please report gas boiler breakdowns to Parker Bromley and all other repairs to our office:

Repairs: Tenants responsibilities
Our rents include an element for the repair service but there are some repairs that tenants are responsible for carrying out themselves.
We consulted tenants on what repairs that we think should be tenants’ responsibilities and have agreed the following list:
- Damage caused by the tenant, someone living with them or a visitor.
- Putting right misuse of any fixture or fitting within the home.
- Internal doors, internal door locks, latches, handles, hinges, keys and rubber door stops.
- Fitting new locks if tenant loses your keys.
- Replacing cupboard catches, handles and hinges.
- Plugs and chains to sinks, hand basins and baths.
- Replacing tap washers.
- Accidental damage to sinks and toilets.
- Replacing broken glass in windows and doors, unless it is criminal damage (A police crime number required).
- Unblocking sinks, hand basins and baths.
- Replacing plugs, fuses and light bulbs.
- Decorating inside the home.
- Replacing door bell and smoke alarm batteries.
- TV aerials (Not shared ones).
- Shower hoses.
- Toilet seats.
- Fluorescent light tubes and starter switches unless in communal areas.
- Anything that tenant has fitted to the home, inside or outside.
- Any non standard items that were gifted to the tenant at the start of the tenancy.
- Plumbing to washing machines.
